Was the failure of the R1 AI gadget not enough?
Despite the failed sales of the R1 gadget, the startup Rabbit does not seem to be stopping and is preparing another device. In its blog on X, Rabbit teased a device resembling a laptop designed for “vibecoding” (programming through prompts to chatbots).
The company stated that the device is being created specifically for command-line work and will support tools like Claude Code CLI and native AI agents. Rabbit says the device will feature a 40% mechanical keyboard (where there are only letters and a few basic keys) and a high-quality screen. There are no other details about the laptop yet.
