LG Electronics has unveiled a new premium gaming monitor brand—UltraGear evo—ahead of CES 2026. The lineup includes three flagship devices with AI-powered features.
LG UltraGear evo 27GM950B
The 27-inch model is touted as the world’s first 5K Mini LED monitor with blooming suppression technology.

The panel features 2,304 local dimming zones and a peak brightness of 1,250 nits. It supports Dual Mode, allowing users to switch between 5K resolution at 165Hz and QHD (1440p) at 330Hz.
LG UltraGear evo 39GX950B
This curved 39-inch monitor is equipped with a Tandem OLED panel and 5K2K resolution. The new panel technology ensures higher brightness and durability compared to standard OLEDs.
It also features Dual Mode: 165Hz at native resolution or 330Hz in WFHD format. The response time is just 0.03ms.
LG UltraGear evo 52G930B
The biggest announcement is the 52-inch monitor with a 12:9 aspect ratio. According to LG, it offers the same screen height as a standard 42-inch TV, but with 33% more horizontal space.
The device supports a 240Hz refresh rate and is targeted at console gamers, among others.
All the new products feature AI-powered upscaling and sound optimization functions. LG will reveal prices and exact release dates at the CES exhibition in January.
