New Core G3 processors with Arc B390 graphics proved more powerful than both competitors and the mobile RTX 4050.
Intel introduced a lineup of processors at CES 2026 designed specifically for portable gaming PCs—the company intends to create its own ecosystem and push AMD out of this segment. Partners already include MSI, Acer, and Microsoft.
The new series of chips, named Intel Core G3, is built on the Panther Lake architecture. The integrated Arc B390 graphics provide a 77% performance increase over the previous generation and outperform AMD’s flagship Ryzen AI 9 chip by an average of 73%.
Tests showed that the new product even surpasses the discrete mobile RTX 4050 video card by 10%. The chips support XeSS 3 technology with quad-frame generation, allowing demanding games to run on compact devices.
