Journalist Jason Schreier reported that Rockstar has not yet finished polishing the game and is still finalizing both the levels and story quests.
According to Schreier, the company is prepared to delay the release as many times as necessary to ensure GTA VI reaches a “flawless” state. Despite the push for perfection, the game must be released before the end of March 2027, which marks the end of Take-Two’s fiscal year.
As of now, the official release of GTA VI is still planned for November 19 (2025).
