Both power and price have increased.
Xiaomi has started taking pre-orders for the updated versions of its famous SU7 electric car with improved specifications. There are few external changes: a new Capri Blue color, a different grille design, and new 20-inch wheels.
In all versions, Xiaomi added backup power for the door locks, increased the ADAS system performance to 700 TOPS, and added two additional airbags, bringing the total to 9.
The Standard and Pro versions received increased power—from 299 to 320 hp, while the Max version grew from 673 to 690 hp.
The standard equipment also received Lidar, which was previously only available in the Pro/Max versions, along with the ADAS system itself, which used to be exclusive to the high-end models.
The Max version received faster charging—in 15 minutes, the car can travel up to 670 km compared to 510 km previously. The driving range on a single charge was also increased by 20 to 70 km depending on the configuration.
All three versions (Standard, Pro, and Max) became slightly more expensive: for example, the standard configuration starts at 230,000 yuan (about 2,600,000 rubles or 28,000 euros), which is 15,000 yuan more expensive than its predecessor.
The launch of the updated electric cars is expected in April 2026.
