Information has appeared online regarding preparations for the release of Sony’s new flagship TWS headphones. A device with the model number YY2985 was spotted in the catalog of Encompass, the company’s official distributor for spare parts and accessories.
The leak revealed the probable sales launch date: the product listing indicated a shipment date of February 27, 2026. It was also confirmed that the new model will be released in at least two classic colors — black and silver.
An official announcement is expected early next year, likely shortly after CES 2026.
