Major leaks just days before the official announcement.
Renders and nearly complete specifications of the upcoming photography flagship, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, have leaked online. The information was shared by the insider Bald Panda.
The smartphone will feature a flat LTPO OLED display, the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and fast LPDDR5X + UFS 4.1 memory. Additionally, the new model will be equipped with a 6,800 mAh battery supporting 100W charging.
As with previous models in the Ultra line, the main selling point will be its advanced camera system. It includes a 1-inch OmniVision OV50X main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and the market’s first 200MP telephoto lens with Leica certification and optical zoom ranging from 3x to 4.3x. The smartphone will also feature a multispectral sensor for accurate color reproduction.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra presentation is set to take place in the coming days, and the device will be available for the global market almost immediately. Customers will also be offered a branded photography case for advanced shooting, featuring physical buttons and a built-in battery.
